Course Description

The Insurance, Billing, and Coding Essentials course immerses you in the medical billing world, equipping you with knowledge of diagnosis coding, procedure coding, reimbursement processes, and insurance company operations.

Upon completing our Medical Billing and Coding online courses, you'll be prepared to take the Medical Coder & Biller Certification (MCBC) exam, authorized by the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA)*.

  • Explain the revenue cycle and the medical billing process to effectively transmit CMS-1500 claim forms using ICD and CPT codes.
